Marianne, Meribel Mottaret, Three Valleys
Chalet located in Mottaret.
These chalets (Marianne and Antoinette) have a very flexible arrangement as they are both within the same building it is possible to run them separately or as one big chalet for large groups. The owner of this chalet runs a ski hire shop which is practically inside the building so you can turn up for your ski-fit in your slippers if you like!
Located right by the side of the piste in Mottaret keen skiers can be heading up the Plattieres bubble long before the party animals of Méribel have even thought about their hangover cure. The building is 400m from the Hameau du Mottaret , where there is a further selection of bars and shops and connected to Mottaret centre by the gondola which runs well into the evening.
Both chalets have a large open plan lounge/dining area with big picture windows and balconies. There is a TV, video and CD player in each one. When they are run as one chalet the living/dining areas are no longer combined, and dining will all take place in one area and the other room is set up as the living area. The style of the bedrooms here is very much on the lines of a hotel, so unlike so many chalets, every room is to a similar standard.
Chalet meals include the classic NBV service of breakfast, afternoon tea, and 3 course evening meal with plenty of chalet wine. Evening meals are served 6 days a week.
